Supervision

I offer the following supervision:

1)   Supervision for counsellors and psychotherapists:

I am accredited with the BACP as a supervisor of individual counsellors and psychotherapists and able to provide supervision by phone and on Skype. I have been supervising counsellors and psychotherapists since 1994.  I am interested in the focus of supervision work being on the therapist rather than the client - where they are getting stuck in their work with a client, and in finding creative ways to work through their difficulties.

I am interested in humanistic supervision, focussing particularly on Gestalt, Formative Psychology, and the Therapeutic Alliance.

2)  Work supervision:

I  offer work supervision for people who need support with their work outside of the therapy field. This may be in areas such as time management, team skills, making a transition in or out of paid work, developing negotiation skills, work/life balance.  I have run groups and worked with individuals in this field since 1987.

Please e-mail me if you would like to discuss any type of supervision with me.
